vin decode please
I have a 65 ford c75ku645859 I would appreciate if someone could tell me what motor is in it also what other motor would bolt up i was told small truck motors wont fit(351.300six,302,460)is this true

K = 361 2V FT Engine.
U = Louisville KY Assembly Plant.
645859 = 1965, assembled January 1965.
The 300 I-6 will fit, the others will not without modifications.
1964/78 FT engine family installed in 500 and larger trucks: 330 2V M/D / 330 2V H/D / 361 2V / 391 4V.
You do not want a 302 or 351, neither has enough torque to pull a sick trollop off a porcelain device.
