Looking to put a lift on my truck which is going to require bigger tires, which is going to require bigger wheels (unless I wanna keep the tiny 16s on there and have my tires look like a big-*** donut). I want to do either a 17 or a 18", no bigger. The wheels I've been looking at and like the most are the Pro-Comp Xtreme Alloy 1023s. I like polished (NO CHROME!!!), and prefer not to have black since I have the tan painted trim. I like to keep it simple also, any suggestions?
I went from a Ford Lariat 16 rim to a ProComp 17x9 Extreme Alloy
It fit perfect!
Do you have any pictures? What model did you go with? I've decided that if I go with a 17" rim, I'll probably go with 315/70R17 BFG All Terrains and if I go with a 18" I'll probably go with 295/70R18 Nitto Terra Grapplers...or would 325/65R18 Terra Grapplers look better? I'm just not big on getting my tires too wide. Plus I've always heard that narrower tires do better off-road. And if I go with just a leveling kit rather than a 4" lift, wide tires look somewhat goofy how they stick way out of the fender wells.
For these trucks, its usually a good idea to use a forged wheel in order to support the loads they can handle. This will likely raise the cost of the wheel, but for safety why wouldn't you.
Check out Centerline for some nice simple polished or chrome forged alloys.

I like this wheel the best:
It fits what I'm looking for perfectly. The only concern I have about it is the backspacing and offset. It says its for 05 and newer F250s. But I really have no idea what the offset and backspacing means. Anybody have an easy way of explaining that?
Backspacing and offset or kinda the same thing, different ways of explaining where the hub centre is in relationship the the edge of the wheel.
Here is an image explaining both offset and backspacing (or rear-spacing, same thing)
The wheel you mentioned is likely not a good fit, the 05+ wheels will be too far in-board and scrub the inner fenders, especially with the size of tire you want to run. You need to determine what rim width you need, then figure out offset/backspacing based on that, so you dont have any rubbing. In your case, likely a 9 or a 10 inch is what you are after, but that can be pre-determined based on what manufacturer you go with, they may not produce both.
Give the Centerline order desk a ring, they were very helpful when I ordered my set in January!
The wildcat might work for you, it comes in better offsets, and I think they have a set on sale that might work!
