Niagra Falls?

Anyone been there? Would you recommend it? any tips? I'm thinking of taking my wife there for a long weekend.

It is a must see destination, IMO.
The majesty and power of the falls is very humbling.
I have been on the Maid of the Mist boat ride, and think it is worth the money to do at least once in your life. Haven't been on the cable car over the falls. The town is a little pricey, but then again it is a tourist attraction.
I could sit for hours and just watch the water going over the falls.
I haven't been there in many years. I believe you now need a passport to cross the border. There exists a "lower tier" kind of passport for our neighboring countries that costs less than one you would need for overseas. At least I think so.
Reminds me of a Steven Wright bit (gotta read it with his voice in your head):

"I was crossing the border into Canada and the guard at the crossing started asking me questions. He wanted to know if I had any firearms."
I asked him "What do you need?"
