Stock Injectors with Tips?

just trying to figure out some facts on getting stock injectors with tips for my 6.0L, looking for some info on HP gains compared to stock injectors (if any) and any other useful information

if anyone has these kinds of injectors, how well do they work and how long have you had them?

Most of your a/m injectors for 6.0 are modified stock ones with different nozzles. You are going to have to be more specific. What injectors are you looking at, the application that you use the truck for etc?

Bare in mind that when you start changing out injectors, you have to start thinking about other mods as well in order to help support this one mod, which is dependant on how big you are wanting to go with your nozzles. I would do it all again in a heart beat, but need to make sure that people wanting to do this do it with their eyes wide open, because it can be a shocker if they aren't.

Well I talked to a mechanic and he mentioned the best choice was to get stock ford injectors and i can either buy tips or get them made at a machine ship and he says that it will be better than a/m injectors, says they last longer and can get more power out of them. Im just trying to see if anyone has done anything like this before.

I would use the truck for pulling and as a normal commute vehicle, wouldnt mind some more power to play around with. I've been looking at putting 80 hp tips in but no specific brands that I've looked at. This is just preliminary and feeling it out to see what options I've got to use.

Technically speaking that's what a/m injectors are and that's what companies due to make them.

Not all nozzles are greated equal. You have some that get more fuel even though you might order 70, 80 or 90 HP injectors, some actually flow more fuel to support higher HP gains, some flow less.

You also want to make sure the injectors are coated with Tungston as that helps prevent scratching and wear in case you get crap in the fuel or a loss of fuel pressure.

Lots of people have, I have. I think your tech is a little behind on how things are done with a/m injectors. I only know of one company that actually makes injectors from scratch and I've heard mixed reviews about that company as well.

I use my Stage 1's(90HP) from Casserly at Full Force for towing ~16k worth of horseflesh and it does extremely well. Josh over at River City Diesel makes some good injectors as well.

If you want to be able to get as much out of your injectors as you can, your also going to need to get custom tunes made as well. Plus like I said in the other post, you are going to have to also start saving up for other mods as well. Once you start doing injectors, your in a whole another ball game when it comes to modification.
