Update: Took the bra off today and we had nice sunny day with temps in the high 40's low 50's. Only noticed the occurence a little bit...but seemed to be cleared up on the way home. Also checked the fluid in the overflow bottle and was right where it should be.

I will keep monitoring and work it some and then decide if I should proceed to the shop or if it works out...

seems to me working this motor, all diesels for that matter perform better with hard working of the motor. That is the way I have treated all diesels I have ever used.

Even my current truck. I have one stretch of road to merge onto the hwy. I have to floor it to merge otherwise I would get run over. I honestly think this is good, keeps that cac clean.

Agreed....I will run it hard this week with "get up and go" from take offs instead of my normal easy and smooth take offs. Next week I have a 5 hour run to make so I will get some mileage on the unit. Will report back to keep everyone up to speed.

Thanks to everyone or the input.

No, I didnt have any white smoke. If you look into the recalls and tsb numbers on the home page you should be able to find it. I can tell you once I had the intercooler changed it fixed everything. Watch out for you egr if you are doing alot of short runs too, I just had the revised one put on.
