2v Performance Options
Before I take the plunge, I wanted to ask the experts some questions.
First of which being, what performance modifications are actually available for the V10? I've heard of Supercharging kits, but the ones that I can find still in production are all centrifugal, and with a V10, I won't have enough clearance between the radiator and the belts for a centrifugal.
My second question is what head alterations I can make. I've done a little reading up, and my assumption is that the 2v V10 heads are essentially a 2v V8 head with another cylinder. Taking this assumption further, could one get custom grind cams, based off of V8 Lift and Duration, but made for the V10? Also, could one use valves and followers from a V8?
My last question is this. Is the V10 crank forged, like the Termie V8 crank? If it is, it'd be easy to boost the thing pretty high, and handle upwards of 800 ft. lbs. of torque.
Thanks guys,

Not as a production vehicle of course.
They used a lot of parts from the lightning to build it.
I saw this on one of the TV programs not long ago.
No, it was a complete lightning build up...in a Ranger,
using all lightning parts and other Ford P.R. parts.
It had huge friggin' tires on it to handle the power.
Bigger than the vette.
