Found a deal on some bad a$$ tires today. wondering if the dana 44s in my 74 f150 will hold up. they are 31 X 15.5 X 15 GOODYEAR RADIAL TRACTOR TIRES MOUNTED ON 15X12 BEADLOCK WHEELS WITH A 5 ON 5.5 BOLT PATTERN for $900 Cad. and could mabey talk him down. Regular is $2800 without the rims. and they're beads
i am going to be mud racing and doing some tuff truck racing and would love to have these beasts as they would work in mud and be able to absorb impacts from jumping and hard landings. I would be adding some serious support to the casings of the diffs but will the internals be able to support 150^ pound tires?
and would 3.55 gears be alright to spin them? Horse Power will not an issue as i am building a strong and torquey motor.
my other 79 f250 has a dana 60 and i think the front is dana44 hd???
might put them on this if i can find a 15x12" rim with 8 lug pattern.
