Just maintenance!
This gal is hard to beat, that's a lot of miles on an old gasser.

They sure don't build them like that anymore...
I don't know about general maintenance, though.
I know someone that changes his oil in his Chevy truck abotu every 50k miles, just because.
And I know someone with over 200k miles on his trans fluid. Said it still shifts fine so why bother?

I think your reference to zippers was when you were informing us that you wore a robe around the sheep because they could hear a zipper a quarter of a mile away.
