Wondering if I went back to stock Ford shocks if the ride might be a bit smoother. Yeah, I know it's a work truck with leaf springs, but maybe something adjustable might be better than what it currently has, as well.
Those ES3000 shocks are much better than the OEM shocks. In fact, most people consider any aftermarket shock better than OEM. How many miles are on the shocks? It may be time to get new shocks... I recommend either Bilstien 5100's or Rancho RS9000XL's.
Welcome to FTE and the Super Duty family! You have a nice looking truck!

Yeah thats what everyone says, I wouldnt know personally because I bought my truck with Ranchos on it(2001 F350 CC DRW), I have put 80,000mi on them and they still ride ok, loaded or empty at any speed.
Welcome to FTE. Ford does a lot of things great. Shocks is not one of them. Go with something aftermarket. I think even the dealer will sell you aftermarket shocks.
Those Ranchos are pricey
Are they worth the money if the truck is not off roading.
I have an FX4 came with the Ford Branded Ranchos I deal with the Ride LOL
I am getting new tires though also wondering if there Dual steering stabalizer was worth the cash if going with the larger tires has anyone had any experience with it or maybe there lower end shocks. Just a daily commuter eventually jet ski hauler maybe....
35" tires are at the threshold of needing a dual steering stabilizer. If you decide to install one, I recommend the TopgunCustomz.com kit below because of the heavy duty bracket that is unique for the GEN1 (1999-2004) Super Duties.
