yesterday i was in my expo and had been driving form like 7am until 3pmand at around 3 i stopped at a little convience store to use atm machine and when i went to get back in an start my truck i turned the ignition and didnt i guess let it stay long enough so it didnt start then i did it one more time "back to back if that helps any" and this time i let it stay turned, but only this time it didnt act like it was going to start, so i did it again, now it's just turning over and over and over and wont start, after about 10 min of trying i call roadside asst. he gets there and we try again this time with a boost, same results, but he noticed white smoke comming out the back, ok it's unburnt fuel i know, but not at one time did one of my cop's fire, not one, what would cause that and why if i had been driving all day without a problem then all of a sudden, no fire why, why, WHY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

did you check the vac line on the back of the motor. mine pops off all the time if the truck dosent start on the first try. its like it kinda pushes air back up the intake and blows the line off. its really big behind the AIC on the back on the motor you have to reach far back there
yea u need to put a clamp on it, but no i looked at all my vac lines first none were leaking or off. and i also wonder if this has something to do with my temp lvl to cause every since the first time it happened my temp lvl wont get warm, it's like the engine doesnt get hot or warm at all i can actually drive around for several hrs and raise the hood and grab my water hoses and hold them and thier luke warm at all times and this is with a new thermostate, and i just recently replaced my fuel pump and filter ahhhhh im so confused some one plz help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by the way after the wrecker brought me home that day the damn truck cranked right up,, aint that a bitch. it was like the damn thang was flooded, i know it was when it wouldnt start at the gas station the day it wouldnt start and has been running every since then but again my idle wont go down past 10k, its been idling like that for 2-3 weeks now, using lots and lots of gas HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If people knew what year vehicle and which engine, they may be more inclined to chime in.
Is the Check Engine light on?
Top fuel dragsters idle at less than 10,000 rpm, this sorta sounds like two problems combined at one time to mess his day. 1 PATs, 2 major vacuum leak.
sorry bout that its a 2001 ford expo 5.4 eddie b,, bored and ported metering block, tornado metering, speed chip, k&n cold air ind, straight duals no cat's, heads flowing 375cfm,and some more tricks to brin it up to 503hp.
