I have a 95 F250 with a 351. lately it has been running sorta like its out of time. So tinight i decided to time it. People had told me that I had to unhook the spout before I did so. (electrical and computer controlled are not my thing. But I unhooked the wrong plug. The one coming off the distributor. The my truck wouldnt start. I hooked it back up and it still wont start. I have fuel to the rail but no spark. What did i do and how the hell do i fix it?
Unplug the SPOUT jumper and see if spark returns.
Do the fuel pumps now run all the time the key is on?
Does the PCM Power relay click when you turn on the key?
No the pumps cycle normally. and the pcm clicks when the key is turned on. Should i unhook the spout and try it or should i unhook it, plug it back in, then try it?
You can try unplugging the SPOUT and see if the spark returns but I dough it with the other thing you say are working.
It would be bad wiring/plugs, PIP sensor, coil or the ICM.
You would need to do some test to fine out where the problem is.
You may want to take a close at the plug for the coil as it will do this sometimes.
