hey Ronzi that is sweet, whats the story about the dent in the quarter panel, Gigger
That is what happens when you dont make sure your ubolts are tight after installing your lift. If that wouldnt have happened I wouldnt have bothered having the truck painted because the paint was not bad. I should have it back from the painter in a few weeks.
Do you know the paint code?
I think I read somewhere or somebody told me the Dark Jade Metallic is a PPG/UER DAU2725 H
That right? It's on a post it note on the side of my computer.
No, I don't know what the paint #'s are, I just took the truck to the body shop after removing all the trim and bumpers and told him to repaint using the factory color code (BM) on the door plate.
heres mine its dark jade metallic.
im in the process of getting it repainted the same color. i got a complete spare parts truck in excellent shape for swapping the whole body over. it has the complete racetrack trim and im going top it off with some clearance lights.
I bought my first Ford in the spring of 1979, it was between a dark green F250 and a silver F150. Both long beds and 4X4. I went with the F150 because the 250 had a 460 in it. Better gas milage with the 351m.
You can find the color code somewhere, Duplicolor?, and then match it for your truck.

Wait, you are saying you looked at a 460 4x4, I guess these weren't new trucks then?
And did the 351m get better mileage than a 460? From the few swaps I have dealt with mileage with the 460 or 429 actually improved vs the M.
The 76 I had was Hatteras Green. It was a darker green with a slight metallic to it. Not sure how many years Ford offered it. You can see pictures in my gallery. The outside was faded but the interior picks give a better idea of what it looked like. I thought it was a nice color and someday when I pick up another one I would consider painting it that color.

You got any more pictures? That's a sweet truck, I'd like to see more pictures to get a better feel for the color. A little too much sun glare to really see the color. I'm thinking about painting mine the dark jade metallic .
