Is the trans. modulator inside or outside trans. housing on this auto. trans? 4 Lt. 6 cyl

A4LD, has the modulator outside the passenger side of transmission, midway.. may have to unbuckle exhaust to re/re.

Warning, do not drop/lose actuator pin when you pull the old out, you will need it install with the new.

Do you have fluid coming out the vacuum line??
Did you vacuum test the line??
