Morning Rush. That should do wonders for the level of the Missouri river, which has already topped the banks on the Iowa side here across from the plant.
Actually saw a few boats trying to put in @ Chamberlain yesterday at Cedar Shores. Missouri seemed full, trees on the edges were in water. Still had about half ice cover, but channell was open. Some towns East river having flooding. Hwy 18 near Davis Closed. The James is also really full. almost up to the Hwy at Olivet, and almost up to the Railroad Bridge in Mitchell.
You'd be crazy to be in a boat down here. You wouldn't believe the size of the trees that are floating down the river! We were told this morning that the river will rise another foot and a half by tomorrow.

The Big Sioux river just north and east of Elk Point is out of its banks, along the Iowa border. I think the Vermillion river is causing trouble over by Centerville, SD too. At least it stopped raining for a couple days, but we are supposed to get more snow/rain starting tomorrow. Yuck.
If the water is open below the dam at Pierre there will be a boat in the water. Last week I seen that happen. I am liking the spring weather. And the rain doesn't bother me. I was able to wash my pickup. Started cleaning the cab. But the shop vac doesn't suck like it should...
