I'm not sure Miles. You could find out what the new ones will tow, but it may be more than a 07 can. I've never checked for my 97, since I don't tow with it.

Looks like depending on the gear ratio and the engine ( hope its the 5.4 ) that it will tow between 5100 and 11300 lbs. I need to call and get some specs first.

The race trucks weighs 3800 and the trailer is around 1500 lbs. Should be able to pull it all, but I don;t want to push it too much.

My wife's Expedtion has the 5.4. It's a 2000, and it will pull my 4000 lb. boat with no problem. Definitively hurts the mileage, though.

I don't think this stuff will last long, we'll see. They are talking 50's for temps next week!

I'm just itching to get to work on the truck so it needs to get warmed up! I still have to go and pick up that bed from the guy I bought it from last Dec.

Yeah, he's got in his garage. He asked me in January if he could store some firewood in it, so he could keep it dry. I said no problem, so it's still there!
