I think patience is probably the biggest thing you need. And persistence.

 

I had to skim coat all the walls that had the wallpaper and they look ok. I didn't do any texture since the rest of the house has smooth walls. They turned out good and look a lot better than the pink flowers.

 

That skim coating is a lot of work, but pretty much necessary with walls that had wallpaper.

 

Still decent weather today Pat? Going to be around 50 here today.

 

They are saying we'll have that on Saturday and Sunday. They are sweating down south of Omaha, because of the possible flooding, and we might be getting a rainstorm on Monday, which would accelerate the melting of snow.
