SD d60 vs old d60

SD d60 vs old d60
Is there any difference in the differential of the older d60 in the obs trucks and the superduty d60 diff.
Other then the possible spline count, and bearing.
Also, I have a d60 LSD from a rear axle, I know its finespline, but not the count. What spline do our front axles have? Id like to swap in a LSD to the front of my truck if i can do it with parts i have already.

Our axles are 30 spline count on the front, both D50 and D60 IIRC.

I use my truck for work mostly, but like to have it be the "bad larry" of the group when I go out having fun. The LSD front isn't optimal, but more then plenty for what I use the truck for.
I'll let you all know how it turns out when I get ready to do the swap.
