Hey Bill, now that I got you here, I caught about half an episode of Deadwood last night. Was just going thru the channels when I got home and tuned in. Pretty interesting. I caught a beating of some prostitutes, a rape of a child, a stabbing and a couple shootings. All in about 45 minutes. Also, I didn't realize that men were such potty mouths back in the old west.
Directv didn't have any other episodes coming up in the next week, but I will be looking out for that show in the future.

It's a great show.
But I don't know if people really cursed that much, or in such creative ways. I really doubt it.
It was a mining camp. Today if you visit a mine, or a logging camp, or high iron work, you would enjoy a more colorful conversation than you might find in a cubicle farm. And in my experience, the women are at least as colorful as the men, given an appropriate environment.
In some ways that show scarred me. My own language was affected. My wife still has me in recovery.
