Good morning Steve
That Ford rep called me about 1 hour after I sent him an e-mail about the chapter design.
Thanks for the contact.

I became a Ford pick-up man from my Grand father and he also had 2 Farmalls on the farm. My dad changed to John Deer's and GMC's, but I followed my grampa's foot steps. Ford and old school Farmall.

Good evening Kevin.
Trivia question for you, what do vintage gasoline tractors have in common with airplanes to this day.
I'll give you a hint:
Draft

You got me!!
I know what draft control is on a tractor, but I don't know much about planes. I guess I could of googled it but that would be cheating.

Kevin, the vintage gasoline tractors used updraft carburetors.
Both Continental & Lycoming still use updraft carburetors.
When you look at the nose of a Cessna or a Piper aircraft, you'll notice that the intake is below the propeller.
The holes to either side of the propeller are for cooling air.
