Help Please
Have a 81 f150 with a straight six. new plugs wires cap and rotor has new fuel pump and fuel filter, rebuilt the one barrel today. here is my problem. I'm getting 10 miles a gallon and it smells real rich. rebuilding and readujsting the carb did not help. it will also die after idle sometimes after i pull out of the driveway. i am running out of ideas here. would the egr system have anything to do with it???
