A/C compressor
I have an 07 F-250 XL 4x4 work truck. I bought the truck with 5k miles on it. Shortly have I bought it, I noticed it making a sqealing noise in the fan area or belts. The first two times the dealership replaced the belt... it worked fine for awhile. I took it back last week and they told me the problem was that my trucks a/c compressor pulley has 8 grooves and the others have 6, and that's why it's sqeaking. According to Autozone, 8 groove pulleys on F250 come only on diesel trucks, mine is a gas burner.
Anyone have a clue if this is true and could this be the problem?
