tranny swap help!

hey guys i have my 95 350 powerstroke and the tranny is going out in it. i am looking to replace it but i dont want to buy another automatic. i have a 5 speed out of another 95 that is just sitting in my shop. im wondering if it will be possible to just put the 5 speed in my truck and what i need to change if anything on the motor. do i just need to change the flywheel and clutch and tranny over or is the crank different or something? i have the clutch, flywheel, clucth master/slave cylinder and pedal assembley that is all pretty much brand new. thanks for any help!

pcm, transmission harness and pedal assy. will have to be changed. and the steering column if you don't want the old auto shift mechanism there. floor pans unless you want to cut yours.
crank is the same just need the flywheel clutch pressure plate pilot bearing and throw out bearing.
just a thought but it would be the right time to install a single mass flywheel and a new clutch.
also a easy time to upgrade the down pipe if it hasn't been done

If you're doing it, switch to a single mass flywheel like helifixer says. Worth every cent. Talk to rubberduck about valair. He's in tight with the guys down there. they made me a great deal. Also, while you have things out, put in a new downpipe. No better time than when the tranny's out.
As for the actual swap, helifixer's right on the money.

You can actually run a manual trans with a auto pcm, but not a auto with a manual pcm
