Ford AOD trans in a 77' 2WD 150?
No,
__it won't bolt in.
Should you can get to fit. It can handle the bigger "engine".
If you keep your foot out of the G-tank.
& you'll need to install a transmission cooler,
as with any transmission that is doing Tow/Haul duty.
A good place to start in looking for a transmission is Monster Transmission.
Reliable transmissions, & good people.

I would like to install a 302 with an AOD in my 74 2wd F100 that came with 3 on the tree. My primary concern is the drive shaft. My truck currently has the 2 piece drive shaft and I am wondering if I can run a one piece shaft or if I have to use a 2 piece unit. Can anyone answer this for me?
