header fastening trick
While at Clifford Performance, I learned a trick. When bolting on your headers and intake, one finds that the oe washer sits crooked, out further on the intake than the header. There are various techniques to make it sit straight. Just use two different size hardened washers on the bolt, the smaller closest to the bolt. That allows you to move the washer closest to the head to one side where it meets the intake, and the top washer holds the intake, the bottom one grabs the header.
Since this is the info. age, that info will cost you $5.
All joking aside as good a suggestion as any and inexpensive also. Good on you and thankyou. OBCB
