General Questions I Need Help With
First off most of these questions are not specifically diesel but i know you can help me.
1. My fuel gauge bounces from full to quarter when the tank is full. Mostly happens on front tank but also on rear tank. I am switching cabs so the dash is apart how can i fix this.
2. Now come the really dumb questions. How do you take apart the windshield wipers from the shaft that comes out of the cowl area? almost looks like 2 tiny screws facing down toward the cowl. cant get at it with any tools.
3. How do the front quarter panels come off? In the morning i will pickup a Hayes manual but i know someone here has personal experience with this.

Just to add to this start by lifting the wiper arm UP off the windshield and then using your thumb nail pull the little metal slide out to hold the wipers off the windshield. Then simply pull the arms off the shafts.
