Tuner Help

Has anybody tried the Banks power tuner Six-GunŽ Tuner and Banks iQ and if so is it worth the money and does it really increase your mpg. Please advise. I have a 2010 F-350 6.4L

I have both and know several others with it as well. The banks is a clean tune. Works with the emissions stuff to give you more power/TQ while not defeating the emissions. For me it did not increase my mpgs but let me explain.

When I put mine on I also had bought my aerodynamic front bumper and changed to a more aggressive tire. So with that combo I can achieve 17 on the hwy with the 6-gun while traveling 70-75 mph.

Your biggest gain truthfully is with the better management of the emissions stuff. Less regens. Mine are 500-600 on the average. Of course towing heavy they are around 150 miles apart, lasting around 10 miles to get it done.

I don't make oil because of this I beleive as well as I really don't do city driving which with the regen makes oil.

Only real big gains would be with removal of the DPF, which will mean a different tuner than the banks.

Personally I like it as I don't have to fool with the dpf removal and putting it back on for warranty work.

I like the fact that you don't dump the factory PCM program, rather the banks intercepts it and modifies it.

I also like the fact that all factory safe eng limits are maintained, warnings and all. The IQ is great because you can see those and modify them as well.
