Park Sensor?

Hey guys
Lately my truck seems to not know its in park and wont start unless i pull up on the gear lever (on the column), anyone know where the sensor is? can it be adjusted? thanks

Most likely, the gear shift mechanism is getting excessive play in it causing imprecise shift lever alignment.

Most commonly, it's either the commonly loose Torx-headed screws or the shifter tube bushings have worn out.
