Acceleration Issue

I've started to notice (very annoying) that when I'm coasting down the road or holding steady at a constant speed and then try to accelerate, the RPM's increase, then quickly decrease, then go normal. I'm not sure if it's the TPS or a transmission issue. It's hard to tell if its acceleration hesitation or if the truck is shifting into overdrive then accelerating. Any ideas anyone?

Any ideas anyone? I noticed it again today when i was at constant speed, then accelerated to make a turning red light...
