ive been doing a couple mods to my powerstroke since swapping the motor but it still seems to be running odd, it starts up and revs fine but at idle it seems not smooth, After i rev it and let it come back to idle it seems to hesitate to it catches up to itself, I put on a tymar 3 to 4 exhaust with a muffler and 6637, and idm mod, i got good fuel pressure new injector o rings fuel pump ect, The only thing i can think of is the IPR when i swaped motorsi didnt buy a new one , The motor i swpped in is a cali model if that makes a diff with the IPR, could the hpop make it run like that also, Heres a link to me running it tonight, i had it idleing maybe 20 min before i restarted the truck and its maybe 30 degrees outside, YouTube - 001.MOV

well i just pulled the IPR and the inside of the 2 outer o rings was cracked, would that make a differance since it was the inner one, Also i have another IPR that is brand new that was ment to go on my 95 engine but the engine i have in now is a 97, the ends of the IPR are different between the two, does this matter at all?

They are different. The older has the edge filter in it , need the newer version. The small o ring on the end needs to be intact , the other is a square profile backer ring ,& it has a diagonal cut in it (to be able to install it) Its not very flexible ...
