6637 question
which is slightly OT, but do any of yall know if there's any reason we couldn't/shouldn't do this mod on my sister's 12-valve cummins? i wanna do it for her, cause her air filter's gross and her stock box is crappier than ours, but i figured it wouldn't hurt to double-check

that truck is the simplest install. just take the scrap from your 45 degree elbow and stick it into the filter. and than measure how far it will go into the intake hose (the first bellows) (it will only go about 1 inch) cut to fit, leave the 4 inch pipe in the filter (prevents clamp from crushing filter) slide the intake hose over the filter re use the original clamp. I than take a piece of 3/4 of 1 inch plywood and make a surface for the filter to set on (cut it to shape to fit) and drill holes for the studs where the original box bolted down. the plywood will stay just sitting on the studs.
