Truck Died
Going down the road today and my truck died, was able to coast into a parking lot to try and figure out what the problem was. I am getting fuel checked at the regulator and good there. Have tach movement but very little. Truck will turn over fine, and started a couple times for me but ran for maybe 15-20 sec and dies. When it did run for that short period it had a bad knock. Just changed oil yesterday in it running 5w40 Mobil 1 Diesel Truck Synthetic. I am going to guess it's the CPS again since that's the way it acted last time CPS was bad. "Lucky me" didn't have one in glovebox so I'll have to go get a couple.

oil was clean when I changed it. Just changed it yesterday and noticed nothing in old oil. What do you mean by bypass valve parts? It died like this 2 weeks ago, but was able to start it right back up and keep on going and never had a problem with it again until today
