shift on the fly
Hey new to the bord and ya i need newbe help. My 2005 f250 4x4 is not going into 4x4. The shift on the fly on the dash seams to have power going to it but it wont shift into 4 wheel drive
and help would be great

Turn on the a/c... Turn on the 4x4. Does it go to defrost? If so you have a vaccum leak. If not can you manually engauge the hubs and get the transfercase to lock? Another thing to mention at low speeds sotf works but at higher speeds you have to let off the gas pedal and give it a few seconds to engauge.

The vaccum lines go into the knuckles on the front. It is highly possible that either a oring, diaphram or other item even the hoses could be the issue. With the ignition on and motor off engauge 4x4 and listen for the vaccum leak. Mine acted up a few times but everytime I try to diagnose it it starts working kinda of a pita
