Hard starting....sometimes, need some help!
hey fte guys, last november i replaced the glow plug relay because the truck would take forever to start when it got cold then when it did the whole white smoke cloud came, replaced the relay and problem fixed. the past 3 weeks now the truck on and off doesnt want to start. it starts right up when its warm but when its cold sometimes it starts first thing other times it almost goes then it cranks over for awhile and nothing then it goes followed by the white cloud. could this be a few bad idividual glow plugs? or a crappy relay that is sticking? im going to get a led to hook to the relay to make sure that it works everytime i go to start it. is there a test you can do to check each glow plug with out taking anything apart? thanx for any info.
