seeing as i'm treating this as a long block swap(my intake , exhaust,etc)do i need to be concerned if it is a egr, or non egr replacment motor. thanks again, Rick... would love to switch this thing over to a big old fat "FE"" block, with a leaky 4bbl!!!!!!! could fix it while i was sleeping.

I recently had a 2004 5.4 installed into my 1999 F-250 LD. As long as both engines are 2v motors everything will swap over.I had to use my intake,timing cover,oil pan,fly-wheel and r. side exhaust manifold. Both engines had the P.I. heads, also. Good Luck.
