E4OD acting up
hi ive got a 1992 f250 7.3L idi with the E4OD transmission thats acting up. it seems to have lost first and overdrive, when i put it in 2 with the gear selector it moves though. so my question is is the tranny toast and in need of a rebuild or could it be something simple like the solenoid pack? my second question is i found a rebuilt e4od with 30,000 miles on it online thats cheap, but its out of a 95 powerstroke. would that be the same transmission like the connectors are the same and everything? thanks!
