Im working on this 2k volvo s70 AWD with a turbo inline 5 (5244T engine code). I have two codes that popped up: P0137 and P1332.
P0137 is the O2 sensor low voltage bank1 sensor2. Being an inline engine, that sensor would be after the cat but why wouldnt the code read "cat effiency below threshold"?
P1332 is for the CVVT solenoid, im guessing its stuck?
IS there a way to clean the CVVT solenoid and is it really the rear O2 sensor that is bad or is it the front one?
It should sit at a nominal voltage and have a lot smaller wiggles than the front one. As I understand it, if it looks like the front one, you get the cat efficiency code.
Low voltage would indicate that the sensor is pretty well dead and isn't giving any noticeable response.
I looked up CVVT (continuously variable valve timing?) Sounds like it could be a tough fix, but I really have no idea.
im going to try and clean the cvvt solenoid cause this car has gone past the listed oil change interval regularly. the passageways are likely clogged as well as the valve.
