Alternator??
Hey guys, Got a 2005 F250, 5.4 V8 A couple days ago my battery light came on real dim flickering. Realized the truck wasn't charging so I got an alternator. Put that in this morning - Started right up, no lights, charging fine. Well I drive into town and when I come up to a stop light and push in the clutch - my RPMs drop to like 300 and it will die occasionally. You think my new Alternator has an issue?
It wouldn't be the first time I bought one that had a problem - had another F250 that I replaced the Alternator and it started charging at 18 volts and I thought my dash lights were going to blow out it was so bright in there

I would take the truck to autozone or napa. Someplace have them load test the batteries and check the alternator.---check the charging system. Sounds more like a battery issue at this time.
