Bowing my head in apologies. sorry I started such a negative post. I guess I was doing the "old monkey see monkey do thing" as I've seen others do the same. I'm not trying to sell my truck, heck I don't even know the people selling them, I just thought someone might be interested. I can promise you that it won't happen again as I'm no longer going to be part of this site. Just like everyone here has the choice to click on a post or ignore it, I'm making my choice to leave. I don't have to and I won't put up with the negativity of a few people. It was fun for awhile and I thank all who contribute positive things to this site. But in almost every thread that I have read there is always one or two people who have to be so negative, if I want negativity I'll watch the news.
I'm normally an easy going man who lets things slide but this is just not worth it to me anymore. I'm taking my truck elsewhere to play. Goodbye.
Seriously. At 40, I'm a newbie, but in the middle of the age group here. As a new user, I respect (ok, at least try really hard to) the words of wisdom & advice of those who have come before me. The fact is, without the knowledge on this site, my project would be off in another, more expensive & less enjoyable direction. Can the moderators just tweak this post to put it in the classified forum? That'd save a lot of grief. Otherwise, guys - the easiest way to get to classifieds? Look at the silver/grey banner up at the top of your screen. Just to the right of center you'll see the word "Classifieds". When I "mouse over" the word, the drop down gives me 3 choices "Main Index" and "Place an Ad". Newbies like me, I really don't think our elders could've made it any more simple for us. Learn the site, work with it. If you really just don't want to play well with others, go ahead an walk away. But I'm sure you've got to possess some knowledge that could be of value to the rest of us. Set up some bookmarks & play nice.
We have worked hard over the years to make this site the Mother Church of Ford trucks. This is not a club site like several others.
Bring a serious concern here and I'll guarantee you will get a result that you can work with, not something that will cost you big bucks and still not work.
