351 rebuild

ok guys. I got a 95 Ford Bronco contrary to my name on here. It has 205k miles right now. The engine, tranny, and axles are all stock and have had nothing done to them. Sorry, It is a 351w efi auto eddie bauer edition with all the goodies. and 3.73s runnin on some 31 10.5s. Pure stock. the only thing I have done is put a k and n filter on it.

I am planning on having the engine rebuilt sometime soon along with the tranny and replacin the gears in the axles.

I was just wondering what exactly yall would suggest for some more hp and torque, and what the tranny needs to hold that new power.

I am thinking maybe boring it out a little, possibly strokin, new intake, long tube headers, cam, pistons, pretty much a full rebuild. I would also like to know what yall think about doing to the tranny.

Thanks in advance guys. All ideas are welcome.

Oh this will most likely be a daily driver that needs to be reliable and hopefully fairly powerful. I do like to race friends occasionally, but the top speed I have ever had this motor is up to 100mph and thats all I really need or want. I do like low end torque and I usually drive low in the rpm range like below 2500 except when racin then its like 4000.

Speed density or mass air? What power level are you looking for and what kind of budget do you have to work with?

I want to say it is a mass air, but I could be wrong. I am thinkin like 300-400 maybe for power. I am more after having low end torque. Budget I am thinkin like 3k. I want a daily driver that wont do a burnout every time I tap the gas. I think the most extreme I would go would be the 393 stroker but I think the 351 with some oversized pistons would be more than enough. I would like it to be durable and reliable. My stock motor has gone 200+k and I would like this one to go close to that also.
