I have a 1995 f-150 with a 302 mass air flow setup, and the e4od transmission with electronic transfer case shift and cruise control, and Iam wanting to swap my motor and transmission for a motor and transmission out of a 1994 F-250
with a 351w and a 5spd transmission no cruise contol. I wondering if anyone out there has done such a swap? Iam thinking that the wiring harnesses will have to be swapped but the f250 doesnt have power windows or door locks is this part of the harness that I will be swapping or not? I was wondering if the steering colum will work in my truck with my f150 steering box? How much work will have to be done to the transmission tunnel, and the firewall with the clutch pedal setup? Also Iam wondering if the manual transmission crossmember will work with my truck going from a f250 to f150 frame and the driveshafts etc? Any experince from doing a swap similar to this or ideas will be greatly appreciated! Thanks

the F250 wiring should not be used at all. its speed density and therefor different then your current mass air setup which is better.
if you go manual you can retain your current wiring with no issues other then setting up the neutral safty switch accordingly and using the F250 tranny cross member. your Dshafts will need to be changed also more then likly but i would see how it turns out.
this swap has been done a bunch on full size bronco dot com so you might ask there.
