Help please!!!
I have a problem when I first crank up my 6.0 2003. It will idol up and down not alot but you can notice the problem. Just had a new ficm, egr, and ipo sensor installed. I was running motorcraft and switched to rotella could this be the problem or what!! This truck runs good after it warms up no loss of power. I better knock on wood something else will go wrong. Would anyone recommend removing the cat or not! Thanks John In Jax fl.

It may NOT be a problem. The 6.0 will start and if you just leave it run, after about 2 minutes, the idle will increase to about 1000-1200 RPM. This is normal. Put it in gear and it will then go back to regular 700-750 idle.
