I only wait for the glow plugs in the winter. During the rest of the year, I start it like a gas motor and it fires right up. Of course, New Mexico stays relatively warm.

This is the 6.0 forum and all of them have glow plugs.

yes all 6.0l fords have glow plugs. but some other diesels do not. So glow plugs are not needed to run a diesel. I don't recall the ones that don't. but you do need them in your 6.0l or you would be cramking for a long time.
