I have a 1990 Full Size Bronco, and I have been looking for a bracket that I do not have, and was hoping someone could give me a part number, or might even have an idea on where I can get one! This bracket sits to the rear of the airbox, is used to mount the EEC Relay, Fuel Pump Relay and Diagnostic Port. As best I can tell, it's only mission is to keep water from getting into these relays if they lay on the fender well, which is what happened to me. Yes, I know that I can zip tie them up, but I want the bracket and do not have one to get a part number from. Any help would be appreciated.
well i work at a ford dealership im a apprentice mechanic so i can get u the part # by tomorow night but someone else will probly come up with it by then.
i have spoken to a couple of ford dealerships parts departments, and they say they cannot even find it on a picture. I suspect that the guys I have spoken to just did not want to deal with it.
I can tell you the bracket is plastic and like any 20yr old car part it gets crusty and brittle. I accidentally broke the bracket off my truck quite a few years ago and have not found another to replace it yet since all the wrecks I look at seem to have suffered the same fate.
I have been looking for a salvaged one, everyone I find is trashed, that is why I was trying to come up with a part number. It is a longshot, but I thought that by chance Ford might actuall still sell them.
