Looking for this in my exhaust. I have a 78 f-150 4x4 351m pre-catalytic converter with dual exhaust coming off a set of headers.
What I am looking for is dual exhaust, exits in front of rear tires on each side. But what I am REALLY interested in is, having a real deep rumble to it when idling, but loud enough to hear me when I lay into her! But quite enough that when I am cruising down the road I can still hear my radio. I know I want the best of both worlds!
My dad mention long ago that they used to make steel packs (not glass packs) that gave a v8 a real deep mellow tone that sounded really good, but I have not been able to find them. Do they still make them?
I have the dual exhaust, exit in front of the rear tires, but right now I got glass packs on there, don't get me wrong, they sound cool, and you no doubt hear me coming, but I gotta have tunes!
Is there such a muffler? I don't want to spend lots of $ either, 100-150 would be my range, but appreciate the full range of choices! Thanks!
