385 parts interchange
I just bought a 370 for my bus/rv that was suppose to be a good running low milage motor. well before the front two cylinders filled with water it may have been!!! Im out 200 for it but now need to reguild it to replace the one in the bus that is very tired. I want to know what parts are the same between these motors? Its hard to find parts for the 370 but for 429 and 460 they are everywhere. I have found pistons 30 over already but not sure on the rest of bearings, cam,oil pump timing chain if anyone can help me out it would be appreciated as the local engine builder wants double and more for these items trying to do this as low budget as possible and just have the machine work done and build myself with help from friends thanks for your time Moe
