weird v-10 noise

weird v-10 noise
Today while driving on the hwy at 65-70 mph i noticed when i took my foot off the gas it sounded like a "reving noise" for a few seconds (kind of like a diesel brake) but the engine wasnt reving) it did it consistantly and also did it around town, but not as loud as on the hwy. any ideas?
