question about interchangabilty
ok I have some questions about a few 80's ford trucks...
my dad has 3 trucks
83 3/4 ton diesel extracab longbed
83 1/2 ton extracab shortbed
and the one he is going to keep:
85 3/4 ton regular cab longbed (was diesel now 351w)
my question is this, he is going to part out the 1/2 ton will any of the parts besides the body fit the 85 3/4 ton?
it apears that the I beams are like the old trucks on the 1/2 ton, they are long where the 3/4 ton's are real short. whats up with this?
