I'm going to have to put the stock springs back on the rear, no 4 link. My question is should I bolt the stock mounts back on using apropriate hardware (grade 8 SAE/lock nuts) or just weld them. I'm running a Volare clip and I just finished boxing and C notching the frame.

The brackets were riveted on..as original, most dealers and etc used bolts when replacing them.
Since these parts are notorious for rusting out...I would not suggest welding them on, plus...
If you make a mistake and weld them in the wrong spot, getting them off...will be an itchbay!
Grade eights grade eight washers and fine thread grade eight nylocks. Will do fine for the hardware. Redrill the holes as they can be oval from the riveting process.
Thanks. As to the change in direction Fore"f"ing closure. The bank won't work with me so Chapter seven here I come. I need to put it back together to move back to my rental property. No garage there.
