Keyless Remote Fob
Just purchased used 1997 EXPY. Did not come with the remote fobs. Dealer said that they are about $50 each. I have found them on Ebay for lots cheaper. My question is...Will the remotes listed for subsequent year models {98,99,00,01} work on my 97 model? These later year model fobs are easier to find and cheaper, but I need to know if they will work on my model before I buy them.

I would email the seller on ebay. Ask him for the exact part number of the remotes he is selling. Then call your local ford dealer and get the part number for the remote that works for your year truck and see if the are compatible. Also see if you can get the programming instructions from the seller or ford.
