crash sensor
My 99 expedition is flashing a 41 airbag code. After some googling, I think this is for the right front crash sensor. I'm looking for some confirmation on that from someone and some troubleshooting procedures. I've measured resistance between the connector pin and the metal casing and got 1.5 k-ohms on the right side and 1.1 M-ohms on the left. So I'm pretty sure I have a bad sensor, just want to confirm which one. Also, the rust up in that area is pretty bad so I'm wondering if its just a bad ground connection. Any help would be appreciated.

ok so from what you said my right sensor measures the correct resistance, but my left has really high resistance. So it seems my left front sensor is suspect, but I thought code 41 was for a right front. Can someone confirm which side a code 41 is for?
